Carrie Underwood's Baby Bump Was on Full Display at the AMAs Red Carpet
Carrie Underwood traded in her signature sparkles for a somber all-black look as she took to the American Music Awards red carpet in Los Angeles on Oct. 9.
The 35-year-old — with her baby bump on full display — revealed on the carpet that she'll be performing "Spinning Bottles," a song about addiction, so a darker look makes sense.
The singer first revealed her pregnancy in an Instagram post in August, telling followers that she and husband Mike Fisher were excited to be adding "another little fish to our pond." The couple has a 3-year-old son named Isaiah.
In the weeks following her announcement, Underwood shared that expanding her family hasn't been an easy process. The singer revealed that in two years she suffered a total of three miscarriages, which were emotionally taxing on her.
Underwood has not slowed down since announcing her pregnancy. She is currently promoting her latest album, Cry Pretty, she picked a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and coming up she will be hosting the CMAs — for the 11th (!) time — in November.
Her tour for the latest album won't kick off until May, giving her some time to rest after her baby is born. That said, she noted on the red carpet that she'll be bringing both her tots with her on the road. "I’m not going to sleep, but I did it once with one," she said. "How hard could it be?"
