40 and Fabulous: Take a Look Back at Kate Moss' Life in Fashion in Honor of Her Birthday

2014 is already proving to be a big year for supermodel Kate Moss. The actress is celebrating a new milestone with her 40th birthday today, proving that age is merely a number, and it’s a big year for her career as well. Come spring, Moss will launch her highly-anticipated new collection for Topshop that will be released worldwide (it topped our list as the one of the 26 reasons we're excited about 2014).

We also got a rare look at the star while celebrating her two and a half decades in the fashion industry, thanks to a new documentary from French television channel Paris Premièr about her life in fashion, which made its debut in France earlier this week in honor of the star turning the big 4-0.

Whether it's being the face of Calvin Klein starting in the 1990s, posing in hologram for Alexander McQueen, or being photographed by Mario Testino, there's no question that Moss has played main muse to designer after designer.
