It's time to get excited country fans. The 49th annual Academy of Country Music Awards, hosted by Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan in Las Vegas, are tonight (April 5)! Here are four reasons you should watch:

The Female Vocalist of the Year Race Who will be the top crooner? Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves, Carrie Underwood, and Sheryl Crow are all nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year and it's sure to be a nail-biter. With so many exceptional ladies, we can't even begin to guess who will win.

A Possible Swift Three-peat Swift is nominated for the fifth consecutive time for Entertainer of the Year, a fan-chosen category (you can still vote!). She won in 2011 and 2012, but lost last year to Shelton. This year she's not leaving it all to chance. She even made a “For Your Consideration” video to woo fans to vote for her.

Five Nods for Musgraves Musgraves, country’s newest darling who was nominated for three awards last year, went home empty-handed. But she's upped her chances this go-around with a whopping five nods, including Album of the Year for Same Trailer Different Park. Could this be her year?

The Performances Talk about a heavy-hitting lineup. Lambert and Crow are slated to perform, as well as Shakira, Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts, Toby Keith, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and Lady Antebellum with special guest Stevie Nicks. (Stevie Nicks, alone, is reason enough to watch!)

Check out the full list of nominees here. If you can't make it to Sin City for the festivities, tune in to CBS this Sunday, April 5 at 8 p.m. ET. Want more? Check out our ACM Awards gallery from last year!
