Oscars 2016: Lady Gaga, Whoopi Goldberg, and Charlize Theron Are Among the Presenters and Performers
Oscar season is finally here! We already know the nominees, and now we have the first look at some of the stars who will take the stage. The Academy announced the first slate of presenters and performers for the 2016 Academy Awards today, and we’re in for an amazing show.
Charlize Theron, Whoopi Goldberg, Lady Gaga, Tina Fey, Ryan Gosling, Sam Smith, Jacob Tremblay, The Weeknd, Pharrell Williams, and Benicio Del Toro are among the celebrities who will either present or perform.
“Each of these artists brings a wonderfully distinctive element to the Oscars stage,” producers David Hill and Reginald Hudlin said in a statement. “Together they represent the many thrilling ways stories can be shared about the human experience, and we’re honored they will be part of the celebration.”
We can’t wait to see funny lady Fey and adorable Room star Tremblay take the stage, along with the rest of the talents. Tune in to ABC on Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. ET to watch the magic unfold.
