With a star-studded guest list, stunning red carpet moments, and unforgettable acceptance speeches, the Golden Globe Awards encapsulate the epitome of Hollywood glamour each year. And though they may at first seem like any other awards show, no other celebration of film and TV presents A-list beauties like Julianne Moore and Helen Mirren with a champagne-fueled, Tinseltown-approved dinner prepared by the top-notch chefs inside The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA.

To make this Sunday’s 73rd annual ceremony the best yet, Executive Chef Troy N. Thompson has pieced together a masterful menu designed not only to taste good, but also to pair well with champagne sponsor Moët & Chandon’s signature cocktail and florist Mark Held’s (of design studio Mark’s Garden) lively mix of roses, hydrangeas, hyacinths, and orchids.

So what, exactly, are 40 chefs, 110 culinary staff members, 50 bartenders, and 250 servers gearing up to deliver? For starters, stars will be welcomed with Moët Imperial minis on the red carpet, while they’ll also later receive cocktail master Karen Grill’s Moët Ruby Red cocktail, which consists of lemon juice, tarragon, raspberry, citrus shrub, vodka, and, of course, champagne.

Don’t think the drinks will solely steal the spotlight, though. “It’s an honor to create this special menu for the Golden Globe Awards,” Thompson said in a statement. “We’re happy to be able to showcase the talents of our chefs and culinary team members, who look forward to presenting a show-stopping menu for the guests of this prestigious star-studded event each year.”

The multi-course menu Thompson speaks of begins with a California market salad that includes baby bok choy, radish, heirloom cherry tomatoes, Japanese eggplant, ginger dressing, and other select ingredients for a jolt of flavor. Next up, the kitchen will serve up a filet of beef with marinara crust and slow-roasted black garlic steelhead trout alongside spaghetti squash, fried capers, and sweet potatoes.

Already wishing you could attend? It’s not quite over. Vegetarians can opt for salt-baked heirloom sweet potatoes with creamed corn glaze and “Fricassee of Winter” vegetables, before one dessert dish with four distinct selections is dispersed amongst the nearly 1,300 guests.
