The 2014 Tony Award nominations have been announced! Actress Lucy Liu and Tony-nominee Jonathan Groff revealed the nominees this morning and Hugh Jackman, who is slated the host the June 8 ceremony, made a surprise appearance.
Four-time Tony Awards host Neil Patrick Harris nabbed his first nomination for his leading role in the revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, while Broadway favorites Sutton Foster and Idina Menzel each earned a nod for their leading musical parts. Which other Hollywood names earned nominations for their turns on the Great White Way? Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston for his role as President Lyndon B. Johnson in All the Way and Bridesmaids' funny-man Chris O'Dowd for his part in Of Mice and Men.
