Today the world collectively gasped. It looks like we may never be getting a new Rihanna album, but we will be getting a new heir to the Fenty throne. Rihanna is expecting her first baby with boyfriend A$AP Rocky. We've really come a long way since Barcade.

Rihanna has been unknowingly serving us pregnancy looks for some time now, with outfits rangingfrom a bright orange teddy coat worn with Celine cargo pants and embellished Gucci x Balenciaga pumps to our personal favorite,the oversized red Balenciaga puffer with no pants. Of course, her first official pregnancy 'fit is even better than we could have imagined.

Rihanna announced her pregnancy with a photoshoot by Diggzy — the photographer recently named "fashion's favorite paparazzi" by Vogue — underneath subway tracks in Harlem before an oncoming snow storm. She wore Vetements low-rise jeans and a pink Chanel padded puffer from Karl Lagerfeld's 1996 collection, buttoned only once to expose her baby bump underneath a long vintage Christian LaCroix cross necklace. Freezing weather and snow flurries be damned! I imagine when you're carrying the powerful life force that is a mini bad gal Riri (bad gal baby, if you will), you don't feel the cold.

It's the most Rihanna way to do this, which means it's the only right way to do this. Her baby is probably also wearing vintage 1996 Chanel in the womb, as they deserve to.
