Photo: Amy Sussman/Getty Images for Baby2Baby If you need us tomorrow, we're going to be at home making Ina Garten's beef bourguignon á la Jennifer Garner. She shared how to make the famous recipe, which is also one of her family's Christmas traditions, in yet another one of her enchanting cooking videos posted to Instagram. (They're some of our favorites, next to her cinematic cat masterpieces.) Mid-way through, she admits that sweatpants, like the ones she was wearing, are definitely her "favorite pants." Garner is almost always a relatable queen, and lately, she's solely been wearing the kind of clothing we want to wear as the world — sorry, we mean year — comes to an end. Leg warmers! Leggings! Puffer vests! Sneakers! She clearly prioritizes comfort, and her endorsement of sweatpants makes us feel less guilty about wearing them almost exclusively for the last two weeks. Sarah Jessica Parker is also an advocate for sweatpants, although she's more likely to style them with pumps instead of slippers. In other words, sweatpants aren't just for homebodies. Plus, you can score a pair on Amazon for as little as $10 right now, which might make sweatpants one of the most affordable things beloved by celebrities. If you want to dress up for New Year's Eve, you can go the SJP route and pair them with heels. If you'd prefer to fully lean into the sweatpants stereotype, go ahead and cook up some beef bourguignon in a pair. Garner says it's okay.
