A delicate chain paired with her sporty athleisure ensemble, wearing no less than three shades of navy, and do we even have to say it? Leg warmers! Still, there's one element of her confounding look that never fails to spark controversy: the puffer vest.

Each and every fall, this contradictory piece rears its nonsensical head and causes a stir among critics and proponents alike. Detractors will say it's a waste of fabric — how can your torso be cold enough to warrant such heavy insulation while your arms flail about practically naked by comparison?
