Photo: MediaPunch/Bauer-Griffin/GC Images I'm a New York native, but even as a girl from Queens, I can count on one hand the amount of times I've taken the Staten Island Ferry. My boyfriend from Manhattan has only taken it twice, and my pug from The Bronx has never even heard of it. So does it tickle me to imagine Kim Kardashian stepping foot into the infamous borough wearing Balenciaga Knife Boots? Yes, yes it does. Now do I actually think the Kim K got on the Staten Island Ferry? No. But she has been spotted with Pete Davidson for the third time this week so honestly, crazier things have (and are) happening. She's is spending lots of time there, and I'm here for Kim's Staten Island era. If you ask me, she is already dressing the part. Growing up in the outer boroughs, I feel like there was a sort of go-to uniform we all wore: nylon sweatpants, a tight bodysuit, a huge puffer jacket, and high top sneakers or boots. Last night in New York, Kim wore just that. Albeit with Balenciaga boots, which wasn't necessarily in my budget growing up. But she does look amazing, and if she wasn't Kim Kardashian, and if her outfit didn't likely cost thousands, I think she'd blend right in with the rest of us in Pete Davidson's New York.
