Photo: Splash News Reese Witherspoon is wearing clogs, Sarah Jessica Parker never stopped wearing heels, and Emily Ratajkowski continues to make the case for a new pair of sneakers every other month. Ratajkowski has started a movement that we like to call the Supermodel Sneaker. The model is spotted out in a comfortable and attainable sneaker from a household name we all know and love, and weeks later, every Hadid known to man is spotted in a pair. All year, Ratajkowski has been on the cutting edge of what the next Supermodel Sneaker will be, and for a while it was the $75 Reebok Club C 85 Sneaker, which is almost completely sold out at Nordstrom. Yesterday, though, Ratajkowski was spotted out with her newborn in New York, wearing a nylon Prada diaper bag (obviously), a Y,iwo gold gym t-shirt, some leather pants, and a pair of $488 New Balance x Aimé Leon Dore 550 Sneakers. Sure, these New Balance sneakers are far more expensive than the under-$100 Supermodel Sneakers Ratajkowski is often seen wearing. But they don't look that different than the classic New Balance 327 sneaker, which costs $90 at Nordstrom. There's also the WS237V1 sneaker that's just $75, or the fresh foam WROAVV2 sneaker for $85. They all have New Balance's signature N logo, with a standout set of colors that elevate the shoe from the plain white pairs you probably own in bulk. Leave it to Ratajkowski to own the most expensive pair, but truly, any New Balance sneaker is a Supermodel Sneaker. Just wait, and we guarantee it'll be everywhere in weeks. Ratajkowski doesn't miss.
