Since 2019, she's been writing for InStyle where you can find her musing about celebrities' pantsless date night looks for InStyle's signature Look of The Day series or obsessing over multiple things on sale. She has also previously worked as a fashion writer and editorial producer, writing fashion features and producing and styling numerous photoshoots while interviewing everyone from Stella Bugbee to Alexa Chung. Tara's interested in why we wear the things we wear and what that says about who we are. At any given time she is probably busy justifying an impulse vintage designer purchase as "part of her job" or overanalyzing the return of low-rise jeans. Photo: James Devaney/GC Images Reese Witherspoon is filming a new Netflix rom-com in the city, which just gave us another reason to love fall in New York. The paparazzi shots of her walking on leaf-strewn streets in perfect fall 'fits will no doubt be plentiful in the weeks to come, and so far, Witherspoon looks like she stepped right out of the '90s, which feels on brand for her. And notably, she has been wearing one accessory on repeat. Since returning to her rom-com roots, her feet have been taking residence in Swedish Hasbeens. Sarah Jessica Parker has been wearing them for years, but the people at large have only started recently catching on to the comfortable brand thanks in part to clogs becoming a popular 2021 fall trend. For her outfit yesterday, featuring a knee-length denim skirt and a green cargo jacket, Witherspoon opted for the Swedish Hasbeens cross-strap clog sandals that are currently on sale at Amazon. And two days ago, Witherspoon announced her arrival in the city on Instagram with a carousel post of photos from set wearing the popular Swedish Hasbeens t-strap clog sandal. So if history continues to repeat itself, Witherspoon will probably be wearing another pair of Swedish Hasbeens tomorrow. In addition to their newfound reputation as a celebrity favorite, Swedish Hasbeens are also known for being extremely comfortable. They're the kind of shoes that you throw on and forget you're wearing, and that's why they're our favorite new slightly controversial (but extremely comfortable) It shoe.
