Kendall Jenner Wore the Rarest Version of Hollywood's Favorite "Ugly" Shoe, Which Is Secretly on Sale
Welcome to the new Look of the Day, where we comb through every celebrity outfit from the past 24 hours and feature the single most conversation-worthy ensemble. Love it, leave it, or shop the whole thing below.
Kendall Jenner is all for a shocking shoe — and honestly, we're not mad about it. She recently wore camo Crocs, and in the past, she's dabbled in footwear that's ranged from chaotic good (pool slides!) to chaotic evil (thong sandals!). Now, she has a new controversial slide in her rotation, and it might be her most sensible yet.
Birkenstocks get lots of attention this time of year because the comfortable shoe is an easy choice when you want to step out sans socks. Plus, it goes with just about everything in a summer wardrobe. Jenner is a notable fan of the German shoe brand, and while she usually wears the classic two-strap style (which is secretly on sale), she just switched it up with the rarely seen Boston Clog.
The Boston Clog seems like a safer option for walking long distances because of the enclosed front. But even though it protects your toes, it still has those those classic Birkenstock elements, like the cork footbed with built-in arch support and the suede upper.
Jenner wore her Birkenstocks with custom Juliet Johnstone jeans, a barely there white crop top, and a white The Row handbag. Out of everything in her outfit, her clogs are the most budget-friendly at $145. Shop the supermodel-approved slides below, including a handful of styles that are on sale at Gilt.
