We already knew the tennis skirt was the no-nonsense, Princess Diana-channeling staple of the summer. But what we didn't know was that one specific style was going to jump above the rest by so much.

Just a few weeks ago, Kendall Jenner stopped thousands of Instagrammers mid-scroll with a truly iconic lime green tennis set from Alo Yoga. The Aces skirt, as it's called, features a pleated back and a flat crossover front, plus hidden shorts underneath that even include pockets. Searches for the skirt spiked 328 percent in just 48 hours following her post, according to Lyst, and shoppers immediately descended upon the Alo Yoga site, buying out all remaining stock of the Aces skirt not just in Kendall's preferred apple green shade, but in the black and white versions, too. To this day, all sizes and shades of the Aces skirt are completely sold out.

This week, we're witnessing a repeat phenomenon. Actress Amelia Hamlin posted an Instagram Story wearing Alo Yoga's Varsity Tennis Skirt, which features all-around pleating plus inner shorts with pockets, in a fresh-feeling lilac shade. Like Jenner, she matched the tennis skirt to a coordinating Alo Yoga sports bra. Unlike with Jenner's Aces skirt, however, Hamlin's Varsity skirt set is miraculously still in stock — not just in her pinkish-purple shade, but in black and white, too.

Given Alo Yoga skirts' track record of selling out following a celebrity sighting, we don't expect Hamlin's Varsity skirt to be in stock for much longer. Certain sizes, it seems, are already going the way of the Aces skirt and being completely bought out by fans.
