And while most people walking around the city with a Cipriani to-go bag are likely famous in some way, Turner-Smith's Gucci bag would seal the deal if you weren't certain. The colorful floral Gucci Ken Scott bag is popular in Hollywood and the fashion It crowd, so much so it's often sold-out or low in stock. It also costs just under $3,000 and is something Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada would probably roll her eyes at. It's the epitome of "Florals for spring? Groundbreaking." Priestly didn't take kindly to the suggestion of florals for a spring magazine because it's so expected, and fashion — or at least high-fashion — often aims for shock value. But in the context of the last year that we've all had, a happy, fun, colorful bag that reminds us all of the outdoors feels very unexpected. And now many brands are following in Gucci's footsteps, luckily for thousands less. Tory Burch has been putting florals on bags for years since the style is a preppy staple. There's the classic Ella tote for $498, the best-selling Monogram tote for $528, and the vine-coated canvas tote for $328, all at Nordstrom. Influencer-favorite Ganni also has a handful of floral crossbody bags, which basically confirms you'll be seeing the trend all over your feed for weeks to come, and there's even an option for under $150. If you're looking for under $100, there are plenty of options by smaller brands. And if you want to stay in the designer realm, YSL and Chloe both released takes for $1,690. Basically, this may be the only time florals for spring are groundbreaking. So we all might as well get into the trend while we can, sleeping well knowing Priestly would maybe approve.
