It's the 2021 glow up we can all only dream about. As she said on her Instagram, "It's a new dawn it's a new day, indeed!!!!!!!" Naturally, Teigen spent a couple of days in D.C. being extra, as she normally is. Teigen wore not one, not two, but three extremely good outfits as only she could do. In total, they added up to over $15,000 and followed a flawless winter outfit formula: very good designer coat + very good designer shoes. Let's get into the outfit math below. Her first outfit featured a $39 Slip pure silk face mask, a $4,150 The Row trench coat, and a pair of $1,995 YSL knee-high boots. Her second outfit featured a $2,150 Lapointe trench coat and a pair of $1,480 Casadei boots. Teigen's final all-red look was so good she Instagrammed it three times. She wore an iconic square-toe $930 Bottega Veneta sandal, a $2,790 Proenza Schouler long coat, and a $1,880 Khaite leather tote. Needless to say, we want them all and sincerely admire her ability to wear a coat in place of pants, which we obviously stan. But since we're all currently saving up for the $5,000 Miu Miu coat Ella Emhoff wore yesterday, we're going to focus on the one affordable piece Teigen wore all weekend instead: her $39 Slip silk face mask. The popular face mask has over 280 five-star reviews on Nordstrom and is known for selling out. Although the celebrity endorsements are sure to be a contributing factor to their popularity, it's also worth noting they're made by an award-winning pillowcase brand known for it's anti-aging properties. Slips's face masks are made of the same exact material, 100 percent Mulberry silk along with an additional cotton layer. They're beloved for feeling nice against your face and could easily be the perfect solution if your current mask is causing breakouts or irritation. As Teigen proves, in 2021, they're the only accessory you really need. The leopard pattern adds an instant statement to any look and, dare we say, actually steals the show, even if you happen to be wearing a $4,000 trench.
