Sarah Jessica Parker basically broke the internet when she introduced the Sex and the City reboot. It wasn't an announcement any of us were expecting, but it was definitely one we all deserved. The news gave us at least one positive thing about 2021 to focus on.

Aside from wondering what will be happening to Samantha Jones's character, most of us are curious about what the fashion will be like. The reboot allegedly follows Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte navigating life in their 50s. There's no word yet on what year the show will take place in, but we couldn't help but wonder... what if it's meant to be 2021? Sarah Jessica Parker is currently serving us 2021 Carrie Bradshaw vibes, and her latest look feels like insight on what an older Bradshaw's wardrobe could look like.

While at her shoe store in downtown Manhattan (where else?) Parker revisited a look we've seen her wear time and time again since last March: a slightly controversial pair of cuffed jeans, a simple long-sleeve top, a face mask with a chain and a pair of SJP knee-high black boots with crystals. What stands out is that this particular look has two styling hacks that make it feel very Bradshaw.

For one, we all know if Carrie had to wear a face mask, she would absolutely have a face mask chain attached to it at all times. The chunkier and more colorful, the better. Bradshaw would also definitely own SJP's favorite sparkly Busker boots thatshe's been wearing on repeat. Parker recently wore them in a rather unexpected way, tucking them into already-cuffed jeans.

Paired with the face mask chain, this styling hack makes the outfit extremely hassle-free. You don't have to worry about the boots coming untucked or the pants coming undone. And if the SATC reboot is really about the characters navigating their older lives, Bradshaw pivoting to more hassle-free looks makes sense.

So while we haven't been able to handle most of the chaos 2021 has thrown at us so far, we're definitely able to handle this. 2021 Carrie Bradshaw, we're ready for ya.
