Sarah Jessica Parker Paid Tribute to Her Favorite Designer, Sarah Jessica Parker
Sarah Jessica Parker's wardrobe likely exceeds even that of fashion-hungry Carrie Bradshaw's in its scope of designer pieces and sheer volume. A successful columnist's Greenwich Village apartment-scale closet (or perhaps closet-sized apartment) doesn't stand a chance against a movie star's $35 million West Village mega-mansion.
But, despite the virtually limitless number of high-end brands Sarah Jessica Parker could have shrugged on this weekend, at least two of the items she wore were from a single designer, perhaps her favorite: Sarah Jessica Parker.
The actress stepped out in a pair of open-toe Mary Jane low heels from her successful shoe collection, SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker, which she launched in 2014. Parker stands proudly (and quite comfortably, we're guessing) with her line, wearing its boots, pumps, and sandals on all manner of occasions, from running errands to sauntering down the red carpet. And because self-love is an ever-flowing stream in the Parker-Broderick household, Parker also opted to wear a pair of shield-style shades from her SJP x Sunglass Hut collaboration. The merited adoration of one's own achievements is palpable, and it suits her just wonderfully.
When your look is bookended by widely sold pieces of your own creation, you can get away with wearing pretty much anything in between, but SJP managed to look chic regardless. She wore a white drop-waist dress with a comfy gray cardigan and a sensible turquoise bandana to cover her face.
