This Runway Show May Have Had the Cutest Models We've Ever Seen
New York City is famous for hosting some of the most fabulous runway shows. However, this past weekend the models at this runway show looked a little bit different.
Animal welfare nonprofit and rescue group Mr. Bones & Co. hosted their 5th annual Rescue the Runway show in Brooklyn to show off some of their cutest adoptable mutts. This show is the event of the season for dog-loving New Yorkers, featuring pups from rescue groups Animal Haven, Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue, Rebound Hounds, SPCA of Westchester, and Mr. Bones & Co.
From puppies to seniors, the runway show's dogs had one thing in common—they're all looking for their furever homes! But the runway didn't just play host to the four-legged cuties. Each adoptable pup got to strut their stuff with nominated Hometown Heroes who have made a difference in the community. Policemen and women, firemen, veterans, and more who have dedicated their lives to helping both humans and animals had the chance to escort the canines down the catwalk. While some of the pups were shy at first, others burst right out of their shell, giving kisses to all their fans that made it to the front row!
