10 Chic Ways to Style Your Home with Pantone's Color of the Year
We're just a day into 2017, and already, it looks like it's going to be very green—at least according to Pantone. ICYMI, the color institute recently named " Greenery" the official Color of the Year, and we're already seeing it make its way into beauty, fashion, and home décor. "The tangy yellow-green speaks to our desire to express, explore, experiment and reinvent, imparting a sense of buoyancy," director of the Pantone Color Institute, Leatrice Eiseman, says.
The bright hue, which looks like a cross between a daring lime green and more subdued emerald, is much bolder than last year's soft pink and blue shades Serenity and Rose Quartz, and we're looking forward to making our homes a little bolder too. But don't get nervous—we're not saying it's time to redo your interiors in rug-to-ceiling green, but there are tons of easy ways to add a bit of this year's trendiest tint into your space. The nature-inspired color brings a ton of earthiness to any room with just a small accent, like a throw pillow, sculptural vase, or fuzzy bathmat.
Check out some of our fun picks below—it's actually super easy (and chic) being green.
