Someone Just Bought Leonardo DiCaprio's N.Y.C. Apartment for a Bargain
In the latest Leonardo DiCaprio news, the handsome actor recently sold his Greenwich Village apartment for $8 million—$2 million less than what he bought it for back in 2014, according to The Real Deal.
The condo is located on 11th Street in the Village, right in between Washington Square Park and Union Square, an ideal location for getting around the downtown area of Manhattan. Street Easy reports that DiCaprio originally purchased the condo in May of 2014 for $10 million, and listed it earlier this year for $14.5 million.
VIDEO: Leonardo DiCaprio's Studio City Home
The 3,663 square foot, three-bedroom home was built to very specific instructions from DiCaprio to promote his own well-being and health, featuring, "a circadian lighting system, in-duct aromatherapy, a window box herbarium and enclosed juicing station, a walk-in steam shower with custom-designed light therapy system and hand-held shower set with vitamin-C infusion." You cannot make this stuff up.
For all of you New Yorkers out there sad about the prospect of a Leo-less city (will we ever see him on a CitiBike again?!), never fear, the actor still has plenty of apartments around Manhattan, including four in Battery Park City. Scroll down for a full look at the gorgeous condo.
The Living Area
The sleek, open-concept living room makes for a modern and bright space.
We're sure Leo's large, updated kitchen is super eco-friendly.
The large bathroom could fit the actor and at least three of his former Victoria's Secret girlfriends.
