Find A Color Palette You Both Agree On, Starting With Neutrals
For the den, we chose to paint the walls a soft gray color and went with a darker color story for the furniture and accessories. I think what ties the space together is the simplicity in form and materials.
A great thing to do when merging your styles is to shop together! Take your time and enjoy the process.
Blend Textures And Materials
Blending different textures is a great way to combine styles! Hannah and Brendan's bedroom is primarily all white, so we chose to use different textures and shades of the color to create contrast.

The bed and nightstands are metal, the pillows are sheepskin, the throw blanket is mohair and the rug has a silky shine. So the space feels warm and cozy instead of feeling flat.
Take It One Room At A Time
Don't feel pressured to design your entire home at once. Take your time! Design is a process and evolves over time. Start with the room that you spend the most time in, whether that means seeking out the perfect kitchen table for romantic dinners or a couch that will make binging your new show 10x more enjoyable.
