Anna Sui's Launching a Home Collection Inspired by Her Teenage Bedroom
We all know fashion icon Anna Sui for her daring use of pattern as well as her awesome fragrance and makeup collections. Since her first show in 1991, the Detroit-born designer has continued to create bold, original clothes all with a dose of romanticism, and now she's bringing that same fearlessness and creativity to a new space: home décor. The designer is teaming up with teenage lifestyle and home brand PBteen to launch Anna Sui for PBteen, an assortment of home goods inspired by her own teenage bedroom. The capsule, which launches in September, will feature tons of her signature prints from past collections to create some seriously fun yet sophisticated looks.

While the designs are still under wraps (the suspense is killing us), we did get to check out some of her inspiration sketches and get a hint from Anna on what we can expect—the designer sounds super excited for this new line, featuring all the things she loved growing up. "I created two different looks," she said in a press release. "One is based on the art nouveau feel of my boutiques, and the other one is inspired by the chinoiserie style you'd find in my own apartment." Needless to say, we cannot wait for fall.
