Happy May the Fourth, the unofficial (but pretty much totally official) Star Wars Day! In honor of one of the most epic movie sagas of our time, we are fully nerding out and celebrating. And what celebration is complete without an exceptionally themed cocktail?

Well, the brilliant minds at Datz, a hot spot gastropub in Tampa, Fla., actually created three speciality Star Wars cocktails to toast the holiday. So, whether you'd like to sip something sweet, sparkly, and galaxy-inspired, or something with a bit more full-bodied with a kick in honor of Yoda's kicky personality, we have you covered.

The Dark Side

  • Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. Krakken Dark
  • 1/2 oz. Crème de Cocoa Dark
  • 1/2 oz. Galliano Ristretto
  • 1/2 oz. Black glitter gel syrup (or something close)
  • 3 oz. Milk stout or chocolate stout
  • Mini glow stick, in red

Directions

1. Combine Krakken, Cocoa Dark, Galliano Ristretto, and glitter syrup in a mixing glass.

2. Stir to chill.

3. Strain into milk stout or chocolate stout.

4. Add red mini glow stick.

Ingredients:
1/2 oz. Camus VS Cognac
1/2 oz. Giffard Vanilla Liqueur
3-4 each Blackberries
3 dashes Rose water
1 oz. Meyer Lemon Honey Syrup
4 oz. Prosecco
Yellow star sprinkles

Directions:

1. Muddle blackberries into Meyer Lemon Honey.

2. Add cognac, vanilla liqueur and rose water.

3. Shake to combine.

4. Double strain into a Champagne flute.

5. Add yellow star sprinkles.

6. Top with prosecco or dry sparkling wine.

Ingredients:
1 oz. Montelobos Mezcal
1 oz. Clement Coco
1/2 oz. Matcha tea concentrate
3 slices Fresh jalapenos
3/4 oz. Bees Knees Spicy Honey Syrup
3/4 oz. Fresh lime juice
4 dashes Orange flower water

Directions:

1. Muddle jalapenos into honey syrup, lime juice, and matcha tea.

2. Add mezcal, Clement Coco and orange flower water.

3. Shake to combine.

4. Double strain into rocks glass.

5. Garnish with 2 jalapeno peppers and dried coconut.
