Certain things stand unavoidable in life: death, taxes, and ice cream cravings. The summer may be high time for the frozen treat, but honestly, we can't recall a time at least one pint wasn't squatting in our freezer, regardless of season. From Häagen-Dazs' simple classic flavors to Ben and Jerry's eclectic overstuffed blends, we thought there was already something for every single craving imaginable. But then we were introduced to Coolhaus, and it opened our eyes to ice cream's true potential.

Coolhaus is what happens when two women with design and real estate backgrounds start baking cookies and making ice cream and want to push the boundaries of traditional dessert beyond cookies and cream. Far, far beyond it. The brand, which operates out of 10 mobile ice cream trucks and carts in Los Angeles, Dallas, and New York City, has an ice cream flavor for just about everything.

Beer and pretzels? Yup. Fruit Loops cereal mix? Got it. A Netflix-inspired flavor that involves Doritos and a white cheddar popcorn base? Check. It might sound a little strange at first, but once you taste it, you'll understand. The may specialize in the unexpected but they also make more down to earth flavors, like salty caramel and Key Lime pie, so you can fill your freezer with a balanced mix of pints.

And, with summer just heating up, Coolhaus just released it's summer flavors, which include everything from pints like Milkshake and Fries to Buttered French Toast and "sammies" like The Banana Stand and The Grasshopper. Find out where to buy Coolhaus here or get it delivered here.
