Design Obsessed: The Crazy Beautiful Thing I Found This Week

I like to surround myself with beautiful things—from my dish scrubber to my earrings. Every Sunday I will bring you the latest object of perfection that I am lusting after or let's be honest, have already added to cart. Apologies in advance for showing too many shiny things. I hope you get as much joy out of beauty and design as I do.

Design Obsessed: Hawkins Enamel Bowl

Louise bowl, you had me at enamel.

Not only is this bowl gorgeous, but it's useful too. The spun aluminum makes it lightweight—ideal for kitchen prep or serving—while the interior enamel coating makes it food-safe, and copper or brass plating on the bowl's exterior checks the shiny-things-are-pretty box. Hawkins New York originally designed the Louise bowl with a chic gray enamel, but the romantically-named new spring colors—blush, mint, and peacock—have me swooning. Fill the small size with nuts for impromptu cocktails and the extra-large for a salad in a showstopper buffet.
