Bianca Balti’s Insider’s Guide to Milan Fashion Week
At 33 years old, Bianca Balti has had a career most models could only dream about. And she’s still going strong. After being discovered 13 years ago in a supermarket in Lodi, a small town southeast of Milan, she made her triumphant début in a Dolce & Gabbana campaign and still works with the fashion house as the face of its signature fragrance, Light Blue. In addition to looking after her daughters Matilde, 10, and Mia, 2, she also serves as a spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris. This past February, she further proved that she’s Benjamin Button-ing by appearing in Sports Illustrated’s coveted swimsuit issue and was even anointed the magazine’s Rookie of the Year.
Here, the Italian beauty shares her must-haves during the busiest season on the runways.
“Biffi on Corso Genova has a great selection. I love their J Brand for Biffi jeans.”
“La Brisa on Via Brisa. The food is great and the setting is so romantic.”
“I always make sure to pack leggings.”
“You can’t miss Fondazione Prada, a new art and culture complex that’s been recently restored. The architecture takes your breath away from the outside.”
