Kris Jenner Already Knows What She's Wearing for Christmas

The holiday season is still a few months away, but Kris Jenner is primed and ready to deck her halls.

“The holidays are my favorite time of year,” the matriarch of reality TV’s most famous family tells InStyle. This certainly isn’t a secret to fans who’ve kept up with the Kardashian-Jenner crew over the years. Holiday episodes of their show gave us a glimpse into the family’s holiday festivities, some of which include hiring a team of interior designers to transform their homes into winter wonderlands, hosting elaborate parties with Santa Clause cameos, and DIY sledding in the backyard, among other traditions.

Save for maybe ol’ St. Nick, nobody can out Christmas Kris Jenner, so when news hit InStyle’s inbox that The Children’s Place was teaming up with the multi-hyphenate on a second limited-edition holiday collection alongside her daughter Khloe, and grandchildren True and Dream, the first word to come to mind was “genius.” 

 “What drew me to The Children’s Place was that they really have such a huge assortment of holiday pajamas, for the whole family,” Jenner explains in our exclusive interview. “They bring on the holiday spirit and they have every member of the family covered. We partnered with The Children’s Place last year and it was such a blast, so teaming up the brand once again was easy!”

The coming together of these entities is more than just business, though. The partnership also holds sentimental value for the momager (as she’s become so affectionately known) because while lavish soirees are lovely, it’s the sweet simplicity of waking up on Christmas morning and opening presents with her children and grandkids in their PJs that Jenner says is her favorite holiday tradition.

“We’ve had the same traditions since my children were little and it’s so special to have those same moments around the holiday with everyone,” Jenner tells us. And Christmas will come a little early this year, she says. “I can’t wait to gift my children and grandchildren the cozy festive sets from The Children’s Place Holiday Pajama Collection so we can match on Christmas morning!” 

 The Children’s Place 2022 Holiday Matching Family Pajama Collection will feature over 30 styles to choose from. It’s full of Fairisle designs, a red and white jersey-style “We Are Family” graphic tops, checkered bottoms galore, and the return of Jenner’s personal favorite, the O Christmas Tree collection. She says of the set, “When it comes to Christmas patterns, I love a classic design. I can’t get enough of True and Dream wearing them, and they love it when I put my set on to match with them.”

But while Jenner’s grandkids might enjoy matching each other and their Lovey, evidently the first generation of Kardashian-Jenner kids weren’t always on board with coordinating their holiday outfits.

“My mother owned a children’s clothing store so I would dress the girls up in matching dresses or outfits,” Jenner says, admitting, “I don’t think they think it’s as cute as I do.”
