Stars Visit Santa
Rachel Bilson and Ben Affleck
Cartier's famed Santa to the Stars paid a pre-holiday visit to Rachel Bilson and Ben Affleck who helped unveil seasonal cards at the legendary jewelery brand's 5th Avenue flagship store. Sales of the holiday greeting cards will benefit The Art of Elysium, which encourages actors and musicians to volunteer their time to kids with serious medical illnesses.
In 2002-before she ruled the airwaves as the host of Project Runway-supermodel Heidi Klum helped Santa cut the ribbon at the grand opening of a Victoria's Secret store.
The Hills' Lauren Conrad took a break from all the small screen drama to help jolly old St. Nick during the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony at The Grove in Los Angeles.
Emmy Rossum was also on hand at the lighting of the 110-ft. Christmas tree at The Grove shopping mall in L.A. The Cheetah Girls, Goo Goo Dolls, and Sean Kingston entertained the crowd at the annual ceremony.
Like her fellow Victoria's Secret Angel Klum, a pre-Top Model Tyra Banks went red to red with St. Nick at the same New York City store opening in 2002.
Sarah Jessica Parker
In 2003, Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker played it coy with Santa at Cartier's annual holiday party, held at their 5th Avenue boutique.
Carmen Electra got cheeky with Kris Kringle at the 2005 Hollywood premiere of Cheaper By the Dozen 2 at the Mann Village Theatre in Los Angeles.
In 2006, Sienna Miller met up with a special Santa to unveil the Fifth Avenue Cartier Maison's traditional holiday decor. The world's most famous St. Nick doppelganger, known as Santa to the Stars, has worked with the famed jeweler for more than 20 years, bringing holiday cheer to such visiting luminaries as Madonna, Rachel Weisz and Uma Thurman. Part of what sets this Santa apart is his bling: a double-C logo belt, a signature watch and round-framed specs, all from the Cartier line.
Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie
There were no screaming children or long lines to contend with when Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie visited Santa in 2006. The hipster Kris Kringle was stationed inside the Marc by Marc Jacobs store in West Hollywood.
Michelle Trachtenberg showed her lighter side as she posed for a Polaroid with Santa at the Marc by Marc Jacobs store in West Hollywood. Trachtenberg starred in the 2006 holiday horror flick Black Christmas.
Also in 2006, Jewel took a sleigh ride with Santa in New York’s Herald Square for MasterCard’s Home for the Holidays sweepstakes. The singer kicked off the contest-which features two houses as its prizes-with an acoustic concert. The white-clad Alaskan sang her hits on a dais of faux snow (the day being too unseasonably warm to provide the real thing); she was backed by a string section and a Christmas tree.
Christmas came early for Mandy Moore in 2006. The singer sparkled in diamonds from Cartier's new Himalia collection at a holiday celebration in honor of the store's grand reopening at the Mall at Short Hills in New Jersey.
Tori Spelling gave Santa her Christmas list at the Kohl’s Winter Wonderland in West Hills, California in December 2006. Spelling and Dancing with the Stars finalist Joey Lawrence judged the Dress Like an Elf Contest, which was won by a five-year-old girl who, coincidentally, was also named Tori.
Rene Russo made nice with a skeptical Santa at the Marc by Marc Jacobs store in West Hollywood.
American Idol finalist Katharine McPhee got into the holiday spirit with Santa at the Hollywood Christmas Celebration and tree lighting at the Grove in L.A.
Bruce Willis must have forgotten the "better not pout" part of the famous holiday tune as he visited Santa at the Marc by Marc Jacobs store in West Hollywood.
