Winter and what comes along with it — snow, sweaters, the holiday season — always sounds like a fun idea until it doesn’t, am I right? Which is why a solid stock of cozy blankets, some hot chocolate, and a seemingly endless slate of movies certainly sounds like the only Saturday night worth committing to when bundling up and trudging through slushy sidewalks, well, doesn’t.

Lucky for you, between Lifetime’s Christmas movie marathon, “It's a Wonderful Lifetime,” and Netflix’s lineup of festive films, you certainly won’t face a shortage of options when attempting to celebrate Christmas via the television. And now you have Hallmark Christmas movies to add to your viewing schedule, allowing you to tune in while stringing lights on the tree or just attempting to get into the holiday spirit. A true Christmas miracle.

This year, Hallmark is delivering a whopping 22 new, original movie premieres. Even better: Hallmark’s Christmas movie season is already in full swing so, yeah, your weekend is basically booked from now through the holidays.

Mingle All The Way

Starting on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. ET. you’ll have a chance to catch Mingle All The Way, which is also the name of an app created by Molly (Jen Lilley) that helps match up busy professionals. When Molly uses the app for herself, she matches with a failed romantic attempt from her past. She decides to stick it out (in the name of business, y’all) and, well, let’s just say there may be something there that wasn’t there before.

Up next is A Majestic Christmas, airing on Sunday, Dec. 2 at 8 p.m. ET. and starring Jerrika Hinton (from Grey's Anatomy), as well as Christian Vincent. Tune in for the story of Nell, an architect who has been tasked with returning to her hometown to turn a beloved playhouse into a modern multiplex. The locals aren’t exactly thrilled with the decision and neither is Nell, leading her use the spirit of Christmas to convince the new theater’s owner, Connor (Vincent), to change his mind.

Homegrown Christmas

On the following weekend you’ll find two more new movies, including Homegrown Christmas, premiering on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 8 p.m. ET. Starring Lori Loughlin — yes, of Aunt Becky fame — and Victor Webster, the movie will introduce viewers to Maddie (Loughlin) who has just stepped down as CEO at her dream job in favor of heading home for Christmas to figure out her next steps. She has a lot of blasts from the past while visiting her small town, including a run-in with her high-school sweetheart (Webster). The pair doesn’t exactly share fond memories of one another. But when they are forced to put aside their past in order to organize a high-school dance, well, they just might remember why they first fell for each other in the first place.

The next weekend brings another Full House alum surprise: Jodie Sweetin stars alongside Brendan Fehr in Entertaining Christmas, premiering Saturday, Dec. 15 at 8 p.m. Sweetin plays Candace, a soon-to-be inheritor to her mother’s successful lifestyle brand. It’s a sweet setup, but the only problem is that Candace lacks the skills (cooking, baking, entertaining, home decoration) to fill her mother’ shoes. When she’s forced to step up in her mother’s place, she has a tough time proving she’s up to the task.

Entertaining Christmas

The last weekend of Hallmark movies before Christmas doesn’t disappoint, either. Check out Christmas Made To Order on Sunday, Dec. 23 at 8 pm. ET. Starring Alexa PenaVega and Jonathan Bennett, this movie features the sweet story of Steven (Bennett), a Christmas amateur who needs some help hosting his family for the holidays. Enter Gretchen (PenaVega), who shows him how to infuse the Christmas spirit throughout his home, ultimately bringing his family closer together — and, perhaps, sparking a connection between the two as well.

Capping off the Hallmark Christmas movie fun is the heart-warming When Calls the Heart Christmas, airing on Tuesday, Dec. 25 at 8 p.m. ET Tune in for a story about a struggling orphanage run by two sisters who discover a group of friends who help them to create a Christmas to remember.

Several of the new Hallmark movies aired as early as October, so you’ll want to check your local schedule to see when you can catch each one. Want to see them all? Here’s the full Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas lineup, including a printable list you can check off as you watch the movies.
