Katie Holmes's Blunt Bangs Are Back

Katie Holmes might stick with her signature rich brunette hair color, but when it comes to her cut, she’s something of a chameleon. We’ve seen her with an asymmetrical bob, flowing waves, a trendy lob, and perhaps one of her most famous looks, blunt, eyebrow-grazing bangs. Look up pics circa 2005, and you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about.

And guess what? They’re back. The actor debuted her new choppy bangs on Good Morning America today, and you have to admit they look damn good. While we can confirm they’re are a chic accessory to her already enchanted head of hair, it might not be a permanent change.

According to People, Katie’s hairstylist clipped in a set of faux fringe to create the look.

But Katie isn’t nearly the first celebrity to take the bangs plunge (faux or not) in recent weeks. Chloë Grace Moretz complemented her new shag cut with long, versatile bangs, while Jenna Dewan Tatum accented her lob with incredibly chic bangs back in October. Karlie Kloss spent almost all of Paris Fashion Week in faux bangs, too.

This summer, Katie totally tricked us out, too, when she posted a selfie on Instagram wearing a wig with bangs. Turns out it was just her costume for The Kennedys: After Camelot.

Here's hoping Katie shows us yet another way to wear bangs in the near future.
