Kacey Musgraves is the latest celebrity to lean into the pastel pink hair trend. The bright shade spiked in popularity last year during the COVID-19 lockdown, and the country singer is proof the trend is still going strong in post-vaxx life.

On Nov. 23, Musgraves, otherwise known as Spacey Kacey, revealed her V Magazine winter issue cover. For the shoot, the Grammy Award winning-singer had her cotton candy-colored hair styled in effortless beachy waves, and wore a Coach sherpa coat and knee-high boots.

In the cover story, Kacey opened up her divorce from Ruston Kelly and her new relationship with boyfriend writer Cole Schafer.

"At the beginning of this year, when I was kind of in the throes of a lot of personal change, I was told that being witnessed by others being vulnerable is one of the strongest things that you can ever do," she told the publication. "Showing emotion, isn't always the easiest, but I think it's just really vital to be witnessed being vulnerable, you know?"

She continued, adding that she finally started to "re-evaluate" what truly makes her happy. "It's the ultimate decision you can make for yourself, to move on from something that isn't serving you or that other person anymore."
