Ariel Winter's Pink Hair Is One of Quarantine's Biggest Beauty Trends
The actress is the latest celeb to go pastel during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year has been full of uncertainties, including when you'll be able to get your hair cut or colored in a salon. After being temporarily shut down for over three months to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, LA salons were able to reopen in June only to be forced to close again. Luckily, for anyone that lives in LA, salons are now back in business and celebs like Ariel Winter are flocking to their stylists to get a new look ahead of the fall season.
The Modern Family star wrapped up her Labor Day long weekend by debuting cotton candy pink hair on Instagram.
"Pinkie Pie spotted in the wild on Labor Day: a slideshow," she captioned the series of photos she shared in her post.
Winter tagged Tabitha Dueñas and Tim Dueñas, the LA-based duo who helped her go platinum blonde earlier this summer, so odds are the actress' pastel hair is their work, too. On top of the new hair color, it also looks like Winter got a trim. Her new length is slightly longer than a lob and her cut includes blunt ends and a few face-framing layers.
The actress is just one of many celebs who have experimented with pastel pink hair throughout the quarantine era. While stars like Sarah Hyland and Dua Lipa tried the color out this spring, Winter, along with January Jones who also recently went pink, are proof that the trend is still going strong.
