Vanessa Hudgens's SAG Awards Liquid Bob Was Achieved With Clip-Ins
Drum roll, please — awards season has officially kicked off with the 2022 SAG awards, and we're thrilled to see red carpet beauty back and better than ever.
Last night, there were some hilarious moments (ahem, Selena Gomez ditching her heels) and show-stopping fashion looks (we're looking at you, Lady Gaga), but it's always the beauty looks that feel both inspirational and attainable. Case in point: Vanessa Hudgens' sleek, liquid bob.
The Tick Tick Boom star's beauty look was inspired by the sexy Donatella Versace dress she wore on the red carpet and she wanted to look like she was stepping out of an actual Versace campaign. And while the dress screams money, the products used to achieve her look are actually very affordable.
For starters, celebrity hairstylist Danielle Priano used Glam Seamless Dark Brown Single Clip-Ins to give Hudgens a little more length. To seal them in, she sectioned the hair and sprayed on SexyHair's Play Lite Soft Volumizing & Texturizing Powder to make everything blend together seamlessly.
Then, Priano created a middle part and prepped Hudgens' hair with a heat protectant and proceeded to straighten it in 1.5" sections and sealing it in with SexyHair's Smooth & Seal Shine & Anti-Frizz Spray. "Since the red carpet was outdoors it was critical to avoid any chance of humidity drying the look out, and this really helps seal everything in," she explains.
To finish the look, she lightly sprayed Hudgens' hair with the SexyHair Spray and Play Volumizing Hairspray to lock in the style. "We decided to have one side of her hair tucked behind her ear to create some elegant imbalance on both sides. Then, she was out the door," adds Priano.

Hair aside, the rest of her beauty look was bomb, too. Her gold-tipped ombré nails were stunning, and while we can't buy the exact OPI gel polishes that nail artist Zola Ganzorigt used to create the look, they can be found at professional salons. Just ask your nail tech for OPI's Bubble Bath shade to act as a base, the Slinging Mezcal gold shade for the tips, and Gold Digger chrome powder for extra shine.
Lastly, her makeup, of course. Hudgens wore a full face of Charlotte Tilbury products, and makeup artist Allan Avendaño shared that he made her skin glow with the brand's newly launched Beautiful Skin Foundation.
If this is just the start of awards season, it's safe to say we're off to a bright start.
