Imagine getting out of bed on wash day, deciding that you want to try a new product, reaching for a scalp scrub, and then having all hell breaking loose once you try to rinse it out.

Imagine having particles trapped in your coils, or being left with super dry hair after using a product that you thought was worth the hype, but wasn't actually formulated for your hair type and texture.

Well, I'm here to share that this has happened to me — on numerous occasions. And while it obviously sucked in the moment, this journey has led me to find scalp scrubs that actually work for naturals. So now, obviously, I have to share the good news with my people.

Ahead, six scalp scrubs that get the job done, and will leave your roots feeling marvelous after wash day.
