Fashion This Is Why You're About to See Silky Pink Dresses Everywhere You can thank TikTok and Hailey Bieber. Photo: Zara/ InStyle It feels like TikTok users start a new fashion trend every five seconds, and the latest thing people are fangirling over on the platform is a silky pink dress from Zara. The $60 Satin Effect Cut Out dress is, of course, already sold out (sans some sizes coming in and out of stock) due to tons of shoppers buying it and creating unboxing videos. While that's been going on, Hailey Bieber stepped out in her own pink satin mini during Paris Fashion Week, adding fuel to the pink slip dress frenzy. Basically, you're about to start seeing these dresses on everyone — the hashtag #ZaraPinkDress has racked up 2.1 million views since creator Marina Rough posted the original Zara unboxing video (which has 1.4 million views alone) that started the trend. In addition to Bieber showing up in pink during PFW, celebrities like Zendaya and Alicia Keys have recently had their own Barbie-pink moments, wearing the eye-catching color from head to toe. It's safe to say the internet has been fascinated with bubblegum pink dresses since even before the TikTok phenomenon; Kim Kardashian's popular Skims lounge dress is still sold out in pink, (though it's available in a few plus sizes on Ssense, FYI), and Lunya's washable silk dress in the limited edition "delicate pink" is all but gone except for one size. And while Nap Loungewear's satin midi is still in stock, we have a feeling it'll be next on the list to disappear — with this wave of TikTok virality, it's safe to say that we may even see a pink slip dress shortage. There are a handful of affordable options on Amazon that shoppers love, or if you're willing to shell out a few more bucks, Nordstrom has a pretty assortment of pink slips, too.
