Welcome to "Who Won Fashion Today," where we award the boldest, best dressed person of the day. Winning fashion doesn't necessarily mean you're wearing the most expensive, trendiest, or prettiest dress. Rather, we reward risk-takers—those that stay true to their personal style and make us go, "Now THAT is a LEWK.”

You know what's chicer than wearing a Gucci tracksuit? Speaking your mind and encouraging women everywhere, especially young women, to "take up space."

Yesterday, Yara Shahidi teamed up with Fossil for the first in a series of inspirational talks—this time with The Lower Eastside Girls Club at N.Y.C.'s women's only club, The Wing.

She wore an insanely awesome bright red tracksuit with embroidered flowers that screamed: "I LOVE YOU ALESSANDRO MICHELE!" But what made her the most stylish? Her powerful words.

"What’s so cool about my generation is that being socially aware is ingrained in who we are," Shahidi told the group. "It’s almost as though we were born with a debt to society to do our part, to be a part of this peer group that understands pretty immediately the idea that whatever we do has to benefit the greater good of humanity.”

You win.
