Nicole Kidman Spends About 72 Hours on a Plane and Still Manages to Win Fashion
Welcome to "Who Won Fashion Today," where we award the boldest, best dressed person of the day. Winning fashion doesn't necessarily mean you're wearing the most expensive, trendiest, or prettiest dress. Rather, we reward risk-takers—those that stay true to their personal style and make us go, "Now THAT is a LEWK.”
At the CMT Awards, we expect to see lots of princess gowns. It's always so much fun to anxiously await Carrie Underwood's sexy but sweet ball gown ... or gowns.
What don't we always expect? A fresh-off-the-runway editor-favorite designer frock walking the red carpet.
1. Look at yourself. You have never looked better. Your skin is a porcelain wonder and your eyebrows always make us think you have the secrets.
2. You wore Off-White by Virgil Abloh, which, unfairly or not, puts you above the rest. You ditched the typical sparkles, fit and flare, and opted for a black lace ankle-length dress from Abloh's fall/winter 2017 collection. It's sexiness and asymmetry made it stand out from everyone else's (albeit beautiful) dresses.

3. Your jewelry was a fairytale dream come true. Earlier this week, you wore arguably the most insane pink necklace we've ever seen, c/o Fred Leighton Jewels, but your accessories game last night was even stronger. Those earrings will be permanently embedded in our fashion memories forever more.
4. You look like you've had a vacation, but we really know you probably haven't slept for days. Our research shows that Kidman has been to the following places over the past three days: New York, for the CFDAs; London for the Glamour Women of the Year Awards; and last night, in Tennessee for the CMT's. Homegirl must be using SKII masks, like, every five minutes or something. The only person more exhausted than Nicole must be her stylist, Julia von Boehm, who has been working OVERTIME in the chic factory.
