Out of the 30 Sweaters in My Closet, I Reach for This $40 Crewneck the Most
As an ecommerce writer and a self-proclaimed shopaholic, I've accumulated quite the collection of Amazon sweaters over the years. Combined with the few knit tops I have from non-Amazon sellers, my sweater count is currently around 30. And without a doubt, this $40 puff-sleeve, crewneck sweater from Amazon's in-house brand The Drop is the one I wear the most.
What makes this sweater stand out from the rest in my wardrobe is its versatility. At its core, it's a plain crewneck sweater, but it has slight puff sleeves, exaggerated cuffs, and a ribbed hemline that give it an edge. Not to mention, it's made from incredibly soft and thick rayon that feels way more expensive than $40.
I've worn the puff-sleeve sweater with dark jeans and Chelsea boots for a date night and with black leggings and fuzzy socks to lounge around the house. I plan to style it with a silk midi skirt, heeled booties, and a leather jacket once it gets warmer out in New York City, and it would also look great with leather pants and strappy heels. The styling options are truly endless.
I have the sweater in black, but I love it so much, I probably need it in all three other colors: white, camel, and bright red. An Amazon reviewer, who called the sweater "super soft and roomy," agreed, writing, "I will buy it in every color possible."
This crewneck sweater is so good, it keeps selling out, so be sure to grab my favorite Vivienne Puff-Sleeve Sweater from The Drop before it's too late.
