From Flowers to Cars, Tanya Taylor's Design Inspo Comes from All Around

When you think of supersaturated prints and spring florals that are actually groundbreaking, you might as well just think Tanya Taylor. The designer, known for her punchy take on feminine RTW, has finally opened the doors to her first-ever retail space (well, at least for the next three months).

As part of the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s Retail Lab mentorship program, Taylor has opened up shop at the Cadillac House in N.Y.C.’s Tribeca neighborhood, where she welcomes us to shop her spring 2017 collection and exclusive Retail Lab goodies (you know—earrings, enamel pins, Taylor’s first ever home, and lifestyle capsule. No biggie).

In the above video, watch our very own Eric Wilson chat with Taylor about design inspo and how cars affect red carpet dressing more than you may think.

Shop the store located at 330 Hudson Street on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and by appointments on weekends.
