Kate Bosworth Proves Why the Leather Jacket Is a Street Style Must

Kate Bosworth stormed the streets of New York in a tough-looking leather jacket ensemble yesterday. The brown and blue eyed beauty rocked one of fall's biggest punk inspired trends, a black leather jacket embellished with patches. She sported the look over her white tee and black jeans and complemented the stand out piece with some studded black motorcycle boots. Because she is the queen of cool (natch), she capped off her outfit with black sunglasses and a small black leather bag. Bosworth kept her hair and makeup natural.

The blonde actress is set to play Sharon Tate in the upcoming biopic of the late icon's rise to fame and tragic murder at the hands of the Manson Family. The film will be directed by Bosworth's husband, Michael Polish. The couple has previously worked on other films together such as Big Sur, Amnesiac , 90 Minutes In Heaven and Hot Bot.

With her striking beauty, blonde locks and ability to pull off every look, Bosworth should make an excellent Sharon Tate.
