With the holidays officially over, we’re looking for any way to fight off the January blues. Cozying up with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate is a great option, but have you ever thought about slipping into a pair of marshmallow-like puffer boots and letting your cold weather worries melt away with each step? Rihanna and Bella Hadid certainly have — and we have a very strong inkling that once you test this season’s newest shoe trend, you’ll never go back to your boring black boots again.

Hadid is the latest celeb to wear a pair of puffer boots for what appeared to be a Christmas getaway with her family. The model shared an Instagram post of her lounging on a couch wearing a cozy red-and-white pajama set, but thanks to the angle at which the photo was taken, our eyes immediately honed in on her fluffy white boots.

Hadid’s shoes are from UGG — a brand many celebs tend to wear this time of year — and, to put it simply, her winter boots mean serious business. Dubbed the Montara Waterproof Insulated Boot, they’re, well, waterproof and insulated, two essential features for cold-weather footwear. Now that’s a boot I’d hike the tundra wearing.

Hadid isn’t the only notable name to sport this style. Rihanna actually wore puffer boots back in 2017, and though she hasn’t been seen in them recently, she did debut a pair of heeled Fenty puffer boots in November 2019.
