If You Hate Fussing With Shoes, Treat Your Feet to These 14 Slip-Ons
If you, like me, kicked off 2021 by organizing your closet, taking inventory of what you actually wear and potentially need, it's possible you realized that your shoe collection is out of control. Strappy heels, complicated laces — who actually has the energy or motivation to fuss with those things, especially if you're barely leaving the house, or, oftentimes, are in a rush, worrying about something else?
While I am planning to dress up more this year (I really can't spend another cent on sweatsuits), I'm still keeping an easy, stress-free aesthetic — which, in part, means opting for slip-on shoes. My go-to sneakers are already a simple white pair of Vans, and while I do love combat boots, a Chelsea pair from Dr. Marten's has proven to be a worthy alternative. Between loafers, slides, espadrilles, and Uggs (yes, Uggs), there's a slip-on shoe for every occasion, and simply being able to shove my foot into something, hands-free, brings me joy. At the very least, my dog is appreciative; quick slip-ons are pretty darn perfect for those multiple walks each day, especially at 11 pm.
Ahead, I've rounded up some of the best slip-on shoes for women for 2021, including pairs I personally own and the ones I'm planning to invest in.
I wear these every single day because they miraculously look great with every outfit, from a knit sweater and jeans to a playful summer sundress.
