Adidas’ Stan Smith sneaker is no stranger to celebrity attention. It’s a footwear fave of many from Katie Holmes and Sienna Miller to Victoria Beckham, Nick Jonas, and Kanye West. Now, the classic shoe is about to get even more hyped (if that were even possible) with a new, high-end release in collaboration with designer Stella McCartney.

While the original Stan Smith is best known for its white leather upper and green heel panel, bearing the name of the tennis champion the shoe was named after, the Stella McCartney edition is made of entirely cruelty-free, vegan leather, and features cobalt and maroon stripes at the heel.

New York-based brand Stella McCartney is known for its animal product-free ethos, which it’s carrying through to its partnership with Adidas. Perhaps now we’ll start seeing the hugely popular shoe on even more celebrities, like Leona Lewis, who don’t otherwise wear leather products.

The shoe costs $325 and you can buy it at Stella McCartney’s site, or retailers including Nordstrom and Saks.
