Finally! Plus-Size Women Will Have a One-Stop Fashion Destination
The plus-size market has become a massive juggernaut! No longer a small segment of fashion that serves a select few of women, but a powerhouse that, honestly, serves the vast majority of American women and others around the world. With the market and fashion options growing rapidly and new brands emerging everyday, it makes sense that a new one-stop shop destination has emerged.
Enter CoEdition, the first ever multi-brand e-commerce site for women's contemporary fashion in sizes 10-26. The timing couldn’t be more perfect. With the continuing body confidence conversation and more role models taking a stand to love the skin you're in, no matter your size (think: Ashley Graham, Precious Lee, Tess Holliday, Denis Bidot, Gabi Gregg ... the list goes on and on), it's only natural that an inclusive shopping haven would be created for curvy and plus-size women to shop the latest and greatest in fashion at an affordable price.
"Recently, there have been more companies dipping their toes into more inclusive sizing", says Brooke Cundiff, CoEdition Co-Founder & Chief Merchandising Officer. "However, we're taking the steps to bring all the best brands together and put them into one seamless online shopping experience for women. We have a mission to break down this barrier in the style and retail world, and transform the industry."
Think of CoEdition as a Shopbop or Revolve for plus-size women, everything you need at your finger tips. And you can expect items to be the crème de la crème as it was founded by four incredible former Gilt executives! The e-tailer will carry an versatile assortment in the retail landscape: apparel, intimates, activewear, swim, footwear, and accessories from brands like Stuart Weitzman, Tahari, Rachel Rachel Roy, Elvi, City Chic and many others. This year alone it's expected to carry over 150 brands.

Unlike many shopping sites, CoEdition will bring an editorial perspective to it’s customer and allow them to help curate the site's offerings. "We'll offer the best of what designers have each season, but will do so through a trusted editorial voice," says Cundiff. "Also, customer reviews are immensely important and with this platform, we are able to take feedback into consideration and adjust our offerings, as necessary."
