Photo: Getty Images Working in fashion has taught me a lot of things, but the thing that's stuck with me the most is that fashion editors really, really, really love the end–of-year sale at Net-a-Porter. No, seriously. I vividly remember the first time I was in the office when the sale launched. (That's how my co-workers referred to it: "the sale."). The most fashionable people I had ever seen were crouched over a large desktop monitor, mouths agape, shocked by what they were seeing on sale. I used one of my very first paychecks to buy a pair of Re/Done jeans from that sale, and to this day, I shop the highly anticipated event annually without fail. You've likely been influenced to invest in a pair of Vejas thanks to Meghan Markle or Jennifer Garner, and Net-a-Porter has knit Veja sneakers for under $150. And if you want something more obscure, I think Andersson Bell makes some of the greatest knits out there, and this cotton-blend pointelle sweater is just $172.
