When asked to describe her swimwear label, Jade Swim, in just three words, founder Brittany Kozerski went with “minimalist,” “luxe,” and “versatile.” Simply put, we couldn’t agree with her more on these adjectives, which paint a perfect picture of Jade Swim’s celebrity-loved designs.

Before starting Jade Swim, Kozerski was a fashion editor covering the swim market, so it’s safe to say she knew the swimwear landscape — and what it was missing — like the back of her hand.

Kozerski was inspired to start Jade Swim in 2016 after seeing a void in the market for high-quality minimalist swimwear that could easily and effortlessly transition to everyday wear. “I wanted to provide a go-to line of swimwear with styles that shape and accentuate the body, give minimal tan lines, and seamlessly pair with your closet essentials,” Kozerski tells InStyle.

Versatility aside, Jade Swim’s suits are also top-notch in terms of quality. They’re crafted from a luxe technical fabric that promises to hold its shape — that means no worn out, stretched out bathing suits after a couple of wears — has built-in UV protection, and is resistant to chlorine, suntan lotions, and oils, all external factors that can wreak havoc on your swimwear.

Minimalists and maximalists are sure to fall in love with the brand’s range of styles, which include timeless one-pieces — like this beautiful Nova High-Neck Swimsuit that doubles as a bodysuit — and easy-to-wear bikini tops, like this best-selling bandeau that Kozerski says is among the brand’s most popular styles. “[The All Around Bandeau is] timeless and versatile with minimal tan lines,” she shares. “We have customers who wear it as swim but also many who wear it as an undergarment or as a layering piece under tops, etc.” As an added bonus, Gwenyth Paltrow recently wore the bandeau, pairing it with a Proenza Schouler suit for her cover shoot in the May issue of Town & Country.

We also had to ask Kozerski about The Collision One Piece, which she’s deemed her all-time favorite design. “It's basically everything great in one style. I took inspiration from a vintage dress and turned it into a swimsuit. A one shoulder one piece with a tie center that shows just a touch of skin. Worn with jeans or a skirt, the tie hits right above the waistline adding a unique, yet still minimal touch.” And as luck would have it, her pick is currently on sale at Matches Fashion.

It’s also worth mentioning that in the four years since its launch, Jade Swim has amassed quite an impressive celeb following that includes the likes of Chrissy Teigen, Kaia Gerber, and Molly Sims, just to name a few. We’re betting more will join the Jade Swim fan base this year, too.
