Megan Thee Stallion Channeled Old Hollywood Glamour at the 2021 Met Gala With This One Accessory

Megan Thee Stallion looked anything but savage at the 2021 Met Gala — quite the contrary, if you ask us. The rapper channeled old Hollywood glamour in a custom Coach silk georgette evening dress covered in all-over crystal embroidery that was embellished by hand at the Coach atelier in New York City, a rep from the brand tells InStyle. To finish off her breathtaking look, the star, who attended the event with Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers, carried a ladylike kiss lock frame handbag with a tiny top handle that added the perfect amount of modern elegance to her retro-inspired ensemble.

We're told that Vevers drew inspiration from vintage 1940s slip dresses and designed a standout style that exuded a classic American silhouette reimagined for a new generation. We'd say he nailed it.

And while we loved every inch of her coquettish, strapless design, it was her elegant little purse (which is not available for purchase) that caught our attention so much that we had to scour Coach's online store to see what else begged to be noticed. We have to hand it to Megan for reminding us that some of the best accessory investments are from the heritage brands that we have always known and loved.
