Classic black one-pieces, which have been around for more than 70 years and have been worn by the likes of Marylin Monroe, Princess Diana, and Sarah Jessica Parker, are a no-fail option that can never, ever steer you wrong. Belted versions are another no-brainer take on bathing suits, but most recently, it was a Jennifer Garner swimwear sighting that got our wardrobe wheels turning. The actor had a major Baywatch moment in a colorful one-piece that offers up a brilliant design trick that makes it universally flattering on all. The Mega Agency If you’re not already a fan of Summersalt, you will be after reading this. Known for churning out designer swimwear without that hefty designer price tag, Summersalt has been a celeb-favorite for years, with its suits racking up some crazy long waitlists in the process. Gigi Hadid, Priyanka Chopra, and now Garner are a few dedicated fans who’ve splashed around in Summersalt’s beachside staples, most of which feature at least one unique detail that sets them apart from the rest. Tons of Designer Swimwear Is Majorly Marked Down at This Secret Sale Garner had some fun in the sun in Summersalt’s The Ruffle Oasis one-piece, which retails for a super reasonable $95. Per the name, this classic suit features adorable ruffle sleeves that stay put no matter what comes your way, whether it’s a wave or a beachball from your kids, and it’s available in two classic prints: a colorblocked polka-dot and a colorblocked cherry. The suit has adorable detailing (oh, and comfy, supportive cups, too), but that colorblocking situation is what makes it really appealing. Why? Because it’s all in the lines guys. The mixed-print bathing suit doesn't have vertical stripes, no, but it does have a two-tone design that’s sure to look flattering on all. The colorblocking happens right at the waistline, giving the illusion of an hourglass figure, thanks to the light-on-top, dark-on-bottom design. If you’ve been waiting for the perfect suit to add to your collection, this is the one — or, well, any style that has a similar colorblock detailing to Garner’s Summersalt one-piece. That said, we scoured the internet to find one-pieces with a similar design that makes the waistline appear slimmer, like this gorgeous, vintage-inspired Heromza suit or this minimalist, square-neck one-piece with built-in sun protection.
