Fashion Jennifer Aniston Is Not Letting This Comfy Sandal Trend Go, and Neither Are We When they are only $19 and feel like slippers, why move on? Recently, Jennifer Aniston was spotted channeling her iconic Friends character in a simple black slip dress that has gone on to inspire a micro trend amongst supermodels. The fuzzy slides she paired with it might have been a little too comfortable or controversial (or both) for Rachel Green's taste, but that doesn't mean they don't look amazing on Jen. Aniston is bringing back a crossover between Ugg boots and Birkenstocks: the fluffy slide. They look exactly how they sound, and you may own a pair that you use as your "house shoes". They look like a slipper and were fully intended for that purpose until people started wearing them out unironically. They were big in the '90s, and essentially walked so the extra fluffy Ugg Fluff Yeah sandals could run. Aniston's fuzzy slide has yet to be identified by brand, although she paired it with a still-in-stock Vince slip dress, her go-to Wolford face mask, and an Hermes bag. But like a lot of trends right now, you really don't need to spend hundreds of dollars for the look. There are fuzzy slides for as little as $19 on Amazon and they don't look that much different than whatever brand Aniston was wearing. Fuzzy slides are also comfortable, and while fashion forecasters didn't see them coming, it would make sense that an "at-home" style would eventually make its way outside. As we start to venture out more, sure, we'll be dressing up more but who is to say we can't dress up our house clothes? Clearly Aniston is here for a nightgown moment too, so go ahead and pair your favorite nightie with a fuzzy slipper. And the more we think about it, the more we think maybe Rachel Green would be influenced to wear exactly that. Anything can happen these days.
